Health Quality & Safety Commission | New Zealand chapter meeting of The Health Roundtable: reducing perioperative harm
The New Zealand chapter meeting of The Health Roundtable is scheduled for November in Auckland. The special topic for the meeting is 'reducing perioperative harm.'
Together with The Health Roundtable, the Health Quality & Safety Commission has put together an exciting panel of speakers including Ian Civil, the clinical lead for the perioperative harm programme and Bob Henderson, an airline pilot and human factors specialist.
The key objectives for this meeting are to:
- share ideas on how to reduce perioperative harm
- review The Health Roundtable data on perioperative harm and learn how hospitals are improving their performance in specific areas
- develop action and implementation plans to put good ideas into action.
