The Commission and the Ministry of Health are undertaking nationwide roadshows to introduce the primary care patient experience survey to the sector.

These two-hour events, hosted at primary health organisations (PHOs) across New Zealand, are an opportunity for PHO quality staff, National Enrolment Service champions, and practice managers to discuss the implementation of the survey.

primary care patient experience graphic May 2015Topics include how patients’ and practitioners’ information is kept private, how practices and PHOs join the survey, and how the survey fits in with new system level measures across the whole country. There is also a detailed walkthrough of how to use the reporting portal for the patient experience survey.

There will be further discussion on how the patient experience survey portal can be used to promote awareness and drive quality improvement measures within your organisation.
