The Commission would like to extend our thanks to all who got involved with Conversations that Count Day on 5 April.

Conversations that Count Day was about promoting advance care planning, which encourages people to think about, talk about and plan for their future and end-of-life care.

There were a number of events held across the country, including at hospitals, aged care facilities, hospices and GP practices. It was great to see what you got up to. If you have photos from the day you would like to share please email communications@hqsc.govt.nz

The Commission is grateful for all the work you have done to ‘get them talking’. The morning teas, speaking sessions and other activities held on the day have done wonders to spread the message of advance care planning.

Below are some photographs from activities held on the day.
