The Ministry of Health is now calling for nominations for up to three vacancies on the national reference group.

The national reference group has been advising the Ministry of Health on the development of the new model for supporting disabled people.

Due to some resignations and a change to the terms of reference, the Ministry is now seeking up to three new members to join the group.

Areas of expertise sought, to fill gaps in current members’ experience and expertise are:

  • knowledge and understanding of needs assessment and service coordination (NASC) processes
  • knowledge and experience of deaf culture
  • experience of moving from a residential service to a community setting.

The closing date for nominations is 26 October.
