Quality improvement education for the health and disability sector

Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission offers a range of quality improvement education for the health and disability sector. This includes the Improving together education series, and other quality improvement education supported or developed by Te Tāhū Hauora.

Micro-credentials in health quality improvement available through the Improving together programme

Te Tāhū Hauora offers two micro-credentials on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework:

  • Intermediate health quality improvement (micro-credential). This is available through our Improving together: Facilitators programme and is equivalent to 20 credits (20 × 10 notional learning hours) at level 4.
  • Advanced health quality improvement (micro-credential). This is available through our Improving together: Advisors programme and is equivalent to 40 credits (40 × 10 notional learning hours) at level 5.
