Based on the success of the 2016 national multidisciplinary workshop ‘Reducing harm from healthcare associated infections’, the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s infection prevention and control programme, with support from ACC, is hosting a follow-up workshop in Wellington.
This workshop is designed for health leaders, infection prevention and control nurse specialists, clinical microbiologists, infectious diseases physicians, scientists, pharmacists and anyone with an interest in infection prevention or quality improvement.

With a grounding of almost 20 years in the energy and resources industry, he has found innovative ways to apply his knowledge after what started as a sore throat resulted in the loss of all four of his limbs in 2012. Matthew has experienced first-hand the phenomenal benefits of a modern health system.
