The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and General Practice New Zealand (GPNZ) are holding this year's general practice conference in Auckland on 21 to 23 September 2012. The conference will challenge delegates to view – through the eyes of patients – how the best health outcomes are organised and delivered, with a particular focus on general practice and the primary health sector.
Keynote speakers at the conference will be IHI's founder Don Berwick and its current President and CEO Maureen Bisognano.
The conference will complement the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI) Asia Pacific Forum which is also being held in Auckland. Organisers have arranged a special registration of NZ$500 (inc gst) to attend the APAC Forum on Friday 21 September only.
The Conference for General Practice has been endorsed by the RNZCGP and has been approved for up to 14.5 credits CME for General Practice Educational Programme Stage 2 (GPEP2) and Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) purposes.
Further information and registration go to the 2012 Conference for General Practice website.
