Alison Paterson appointed to Commission Board

The Health Quality & Safety Commission welcomes Alison Paterson as the newest member of the Commission’s Board.

Alison Paterson is Independent Director of Vector Ltd, and is currently the chair of BPAC New Zealand Limited, Farm iQ Limited, Stevenson Agriculture Limited, and the Governing Board of the Centre of Research Excellence for Growth and Development (University of Auckland).

Board Chair, Professor Alan Merry, says that Alison Paterson brings a wealth of experience to the Board. “Alison has sat on the boards of a wide range of New Zealand private and public sector enterprises and organisations, and we look forward to the contribution she will make to the work of the Commission.”

Alison’s achievements include being the first woman to receive QBE’s Chairperson of Year award, and the first woman appointed to the board of a New Zealand public company.
