Applications are open for Improving together: Facilitators quality improvement education pilot programme

Following successful pilots of the Improving together: Advisors and Improvers quality improvement education programmes, the Health Quality & Safety Commission welcomes applications for the pilot of the Ako tahi hei whakapai ake i te kounga | Improving together: Facilitators programme. The pilot runs from February to early August 2023.

Who this programme is for

This education programme is for those working in the health and disability sector who are interested in learning how to improve health care delivery at a practical level and who can lead a small project in their workplace with support of their organisation.

How the programme is delivered

The pilot involves a blend of in-person workshops and online sessions delivered via Zoom. There is a significant amount of self-directed learning, course work and project work, representing a commitment of up to approximately 210 hours over the six-month period (approximately 0.2 full-time equivalents per week).
