The Global Trigger Tool (GTT) is a methodology developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement to identify patient harm that occurs in health care organisations.

In this video Gillian Robb, Clinical Lead for the Commission's Global Trigger Tool programme, talks about the GTT and how it can be used to share improvement ideas throughout district health boards.
