The Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) has been recognised nationally for the strides it is making against a healthcare target on patient falls.
The Health Quality & Safety Commission's (HQSC) second quarterly report for DHB performance against five Quality and Safety Markers (QSM) was released today. Its accompanying media release highlighted the BOPDHB's second successive quarter of significant performance gains in assessing hospitalised older patients for their risk of a fall as one of its case studies.
