Encouraging clinical governance and leadership and a quality and safety culture is central to the work of the health sector. In the spirit of learning more about what we can do to improve clinical leadership and the safety culture, DHBs are partnering with the University of Otago and the Health Quality & Safety Commission to survey health professional staff.
We expect to use the results of this survey to improve clinical governance and leadership and learn what is effective for encouraging greater clinical leadership and engagement in DHBs’ decision-making processes.
Over the next few weeks, we will be inviting professional staff (all doctors, nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals) to complete a short 20-question web-based survey. Responses are anonymous and the survey is being managed by the University of Otago. We expect to be making findings available in early 2018.
Any questions about the survey can be directed to the University of Otago team: firstname.lastname@example.org
