The Hand Hygiene NZ (HHNZ) programme will be facilitating a half-day interactive workshop on building a strong platform for infection prevention as part of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Nurses College Conference on 15 October 2017.
The workshop coincides with the WHO global handwashing day and marks the start of international infection prevention week.
This interactive workshop is aimed at healthcare professionals involved in the HHNZ programme at their organisation and provides an opportunity for HH coordinators, gold auditors and gold auditor trainers to come together and share improvement successes and learnings. It also builds on the recent work to revise the HHNZ auditing manual which includes a stronger focus on spreading improvement across all clinical areas to embed and sustain the programme locally.
We encourage HH coordinators to attend because we don’t often have the opportunity to come together to discuss the HHNZ improvement programme nationally.
If you are not going to attend the IPC Nurses College Conference you can still register for this hand hygiene pre-workshop.
