The Commission is hosting a Hand Hygiene New Zealand (HHNZ) half-day workshop on building a solid platform for infection prevention on Sunday 15 October in Auckland.
The workshop is part of the IPC Nurses College Conference and marks the start of international infection prevention week.
The interactive workshop focuses on local implantation of the HHNZ programme in NZ hospitals and builds on the recent revisions to the HHNZ auditing manual.
We are delighted to have Jenny Parr, Director of Patient Care, Chief Nurse and Allied Health Professions, Counties Manukau Health as a guest speaker for the event.
Jenny was previously a Director of IPC in the UK and at Waitemata DHB. She has also been a member of the Commission’s Strategic IPC Advisory Group.
There are a limited number of places still available.
Participants not planning on attending the IPC Nurses College Conference can still register and attend the pre-workshop.
