Front-line ownership of quality improvement initiatives, innovation and sustainability were some of the key topics addressed at the Hand Hygiene New Zealand quality improvement workshop in Wellington in June 2014.

The two-day, collaborative workshop for district health board staff provided fresh ideas and strategies to help nearly 60 hand hygiene coordinators, champions and others to take hand hygiene performance and patient safety improvement within their hospital to the next level.
