South Island DHBs collaborate to reduce opioid-related harm

Since 2014, the Commission has been working with all DHBs to deliver a nationwide collaborative designed to reduce harm from opioids in hospitals and to build capability within DHBs in medication safety and quality improvement.

The five South Island DHBs are seeing good progress in their efforts to reduce opioid-related harms locally, with their approach delivering positive results.
