Call for contributions to Medication Safety Watch

16 Jul 2012 | Medication Safety

The Medication Safety team would like to hear from people who wish to share information about medication safety initiatives or incidents in our quarterly bulletin Medication Safety Watch. The bulletin is aimed at health professionals and health care managers working with medicines or patient safety. It provides information about medicine-related incidents, errors and adverse drug reactions, their implications and offers recommendations on how to improve medication safety.

Medication Safety Watch is an initiative from the Medication Safety Expert Advisory Group (MSEAG). The MSEAG provides independent clinical and technical advice to the Commission’s medication safety programme.

To share your story please email nirasha.parsotam@hqsc.govt.nz with the details. Medicine-related incidents are always summarised into a core medication safety message to maintain anonymity.

Subscribe to Medications Safety Watch to ensure you or your organisation receives future issues.
