How-to Guide (Safe Use of Opioid care bundles) introductory webinar

Medicines (Reducing harm)
13 February 2017

During October 2014–June 2016, the Health Quality & Safety Commission partnered with 20 DHBs and MercyAscot Hospital in a national ‘formative’ collaborative to try and reduce the harm related to opioid use nationally by 25 percent in all the participating areas of DHB hospitals.

The safe use of opioids national collaborative resulted in four emerging care bundles to reduce opioid-related harm, and a How-to guide to support the use and further testing of these care bundles.

The Commission hosted a webinar on 9 March for all members of the safe use of opioids collaborative teams, safe use of opioids groups and other interested people.
