The Family Violence Death Review Committee (FVDRC) today farewelled departing member Mr David White, as he passed through Wellington on his national campaign to raise awareness of family violence and discuss ways of addressing it.
FVDRC Chair Professor Jane Koziol-McLain hosted Mr White at the Health Quality & Safety Commission offices in Wellington. She spoke of the contribution David has made to the committee over the past three years, in particular the awareness he has brought to the ongoing impact of a family violence death on family and whānau left behind, and the valuable discussion his national tour is generating throughout New Zealand.
The committee looks forward to following Mr White’s continued campaign to promote family violence awareness, and wishes him every success in the future.
