National Global Trigger Tool workshop

This workshop provides an opportunity to network and share learning about using trigger tools as part of an integrated approach to learning about patient harm. The focus will broaden to include the use of trigger tools in Primary Care, where the tool is used to facilitate a more reflective learning process.

Theme: Getting a handle on patient harm – how do you know your systems are safe?

Objectives of the workshop:

  • Provide opportunities for sharing learning and networking.
  • Explore other applications of trigger tools.
  • Generate robust discussion about measuring & monitoring patient harm to effect change.
