Planning is well underway for Conversations that Count Day 2017! The day is coordinated by the Advance Care Planning Cooperative and the Health Quality & Safety Commission.
Conversations that Count Day aims to raise awareness about advance care planning to encourage people to think about, talk about and plan for their future and end-of-life care.
This year’s theme is ‘Get them Talking’. Because of Easter, Conversations that Count Day will be held a little earlier than in previous years, on Wednesday 5 April.
ACP teams and their colleagues around the country will undertake Conversations that Count Day activities that work best for them and their local populations.
These activities might include morning teas, presentations and displays at hospitals, libraries, community centres, marae, retirement villages, aged care centres and service clubs.
So, keep an eye out for Conversations that Count Day 2017 and thank you, as always, for your ongoing support of advance care planning.
