I am 28 years old and originate from Dunedin, but have lived in Christchurch for 12 years. Just this year I moved to Wellington.
At the age of 16 I had what is called a post viral auto immune reaction which put me into a coma for four months. Upon waking I had to relearn to do everything again. As a result of this massive brain injury my full vision and balance coordination never returned. Now I live with these disabilities and am passionate about youth and impaired people’s health.
My networks are in the disability and youth sector. I am presently on the Be.Accessible leadership course designed to provide people with disabilities the support to develop their own leadership style and skills.
