Introducing new members of the patient deterioration programme team

We are pleased to announce three new staff have joined Alex, Laura and Emma on the patient deterioration programme team.

Steve Jenkins, specialist patient safety, will provide critical care clinical expertise to the programme. He is working with us two days a week on secondment from MidCentral District Health Board until July 2019.

Russell Tonkin, quality improvement advisor, will be providing quality improvement support to the programme. He also has responsibility for oversight of the hospital-related quality and safety markers.

Anna Lee, programme coordinator, will be providing coordination support to the patient deterioration programme and the maternal morbidity programme, which includes the testing for a maternity early warning system.
