The Health Quality & Safety Commission is bringing Dr Frances Healey to New Zealand for a series of workshops on falls. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the Northern regional workshop with Dr Healey, in partnership with First, Do No Harm.
Dr Frances Healey is a patient safety advocate and leading researcher. She is currently working in the National Health Service (NHS) in England and has a special interest in falls prevention in older patients and residents.
Dr Healey will provide an update on successes and failures on falls reduction strategies such as bed rails and dementia management. There will also be the opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge and experiences with other teams, and build on the work your teams are doing to reduce harm from falls.
