The Health Quality & Safety Commission's national April Falls Quiz closed on 8 May 2015 with over 2600 entries. Participation rose 70 percent since last year – thank you to all who participated and a special thanks to all who promoted the quiz.
In the five weeks the quiz ran, unique page views of the 10 topics in reducing harm from falls on the Commission's website quadrupled and unique downloads tripled, compared to the previous month. The falls domain of the Atlas of Healthcare Variation was launched at the same time as the quiz and was also very popular.
The quiz answers are now available and a full report will be available in June. Make checking your answers an opportunity to learn more – you may like to look up related resources at the links given for most questions, or use the questions and resources document. The quiz remains online for learning purposes.
