Falls prevention clinical lead visits District Health Boards

2 Nov 2012 | Reducing Harm from Falls

The falls prevention programme’s clinical lead, Sandy Blake, has a strong background in falls prevention and a very good understanding of the complexity of what’s involved in preventing falls and reducing harm in care settings.

She is visiting District Health Boards, aged residential care and home-based service providers as a way of identifying best practice that can be shared with others, and also, to understand what support the programme can offer. In other words, Sandy’s visit means a supportive exchange of ideas and resources.
