Future mortality review focus areas

A prototype decision-making tool has been developed to help the NMRC advise the board of Te Tāhū Hauora on future focus areas for national mortality review.

The tool has been designed with a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, to enable the mortality review function to contribute towards positive change and reduce premature death in Māori, in particular. It will be further refined as it is applied over the first year.
