Infection prevention and control PDF

Investigating surgical site infections (SSIs) is an important part of the Surgical Site Infection Improvement Programme (SSIIP).

We hold quarterly meetings where SSI champions can share their investigations and network with their peers.

Champions are encouraged to share SSI investigation information, barriers and enablers to best practice and any quality improvement activity and innovative ideas.

Clinical lead Dr Arthur Morris and the SSIIP team provide support for these sessions.
