Free CALD cultural competency courses

Free CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) competency training is now available to staff from New Zealand district health boards (DHB) and primary health organisations. The courses will be free to non-government organisations outside of Auckland from 1 September 2016.

The courses teach skills for people working with culturally and linguistically diverse patients and their family/whānau or in a culturally diverse workplace.

CALD courses and resources are developed and managed by Waitemata DHB’s eCALDTM Programme and funded by the Ministry of Health via the Northern Regional Alliance Ltd.
