Help us refine the health quality measures library – a centralised resource to support quality improvement

Health Quality Intelligence
27 March 2023

The Health Quality & Safety Commission’s Measures Library  is a unique, centralised resource designed to support your understanding and use of health service data and measures for quality improvement.

We do our best to make sure this resource remains highly relevant to the sector. To help us with this, we invite you to participate in one of four focus group user testing sessions at 10.00 am on Thursday 18 May, Thursday 25 May, Thursday 1 June or Thursday 8 June. Each session will be 45 minutes long, engaging and interactive with plenty of time for feedback. If you are interested in influencing the look, feel and future development of the Measures Library, please register your interest here.

The Measures Library contains downloadable data, data visualisations, narratives and case studies. There are more than 70 measures across seven measure categories, and we expect to have more than 150 measures available by 30 June 2023.

To date, we have been well supported by sector leaders throughout the development of the library, with input guiding the scope of measures and the user experience. Since version 1.0 was launched in July 2022, we have upgraded the functionality of the site, including improving the search function and providing printable PDF versions.

More information about the Measures Library is available on the Commission’s website, and you can view videos explaining what the Measures Library is here and how to use it here.
