Applications for 2022/23 are now open for the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s quality improvement education programme Improving together: Advisors, following a successful pilot in 2021/22. Please apply now if you are interested. The programme begins in October 2022 and ends in July 2023.

Improving together: Advisors is for people who are actively involved in quality improvement and patient safety activities and who have established relationships with the multidisciplinary teams in their organisations. Programme participants gain advanced knowledge and experience in the application of improvement science, methods and tools.

The programme consists of a range of in-person workshop days, online Zoom sessions and course work outside of contact hours. Participants also undertake a quality improvement project. Applicants should expect to spend a total of around 400 hours on project and course work over the 10 months.

Course fees are $1,995 incl GST. A limited number of scholarships are available, and selection criteria apply.
