Medicines (Reducing harm)

This alert was developed in response to a request by the Health and Disability Commissioner following a case where the dose of medicine for a baby was calculated using a weight recorded as being kilograms when it was actually pounds and ounces. The alert has been out for national consultation and is expected to be released in 2012. Please contact us if you have any questions.
