Consumer hub Partners in Care
22 August 2022

Under the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022, the Health Quality & Safety Commission has developed a code of expectations for consumer and whānau engagement in the health sector. The code was tabled in the House on 9 August 2022 by Health Minister Hon Andrew Little.

The code sets out how health entities must work with consumers, whānau and communities in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of health services.

We are excited to share this important milestone with you. The code of expectations for health entities’ engagement with consumers and whānau and the consumer health forum Aotearoa will both be launched on Thursday 25 August at 5.00 pm.
