Final opportunity to have your say on the code of expectations for consumer/whānau engagement

Thank you to all those who have taken the time to provide feedback on the draft code of expectations for consumer/whānau engagement. The code of expectations will set how health providers/organisations will involve, share decision-making and work effectively in partnerships with consumers/whānau. It has been available for review since October 2021, but due to popular demand, we are offering a final Q & A opportunity before the consultation deadline of 31 March 2022. This hui will address details of the code and what it means for you. It will also be an opportunity to ask questions about any aspect of the code in development. There’s also still time to send us your thoughts directly. For more information, email consumers@hqsc.govt.nz

We are also hosting the next consumer health forum Aotearoa hui in April. More details are below. Stay tuned for the full programme.

We appreciate your engagement and interest in the consumer health forum Aotearoa to date and look forward to shaping it with you.

Noho ora mai,

Dr Chris Walsh
