Whakakotahi evaluation reports

16th November, 2021

Synergia has completed a final evaluation of the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s Whakakotahi primary care improvement programme. The final evaluation and visual summary builds on the annual interim reports complete in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The interim reports provide feedback on years one, two and three and are not intended to be comprehensive evaluation reports, but rather snapshots to capture progress, highlight challenges and identify areas for improvement.

The final evaluation identified five key considerations for the Commission’s future work in primary care. These are the need for:

  • an ongoing focus on equity
  • inter-agency and community partnerships
  • data capability development
  • support with co-design
  • sustainability and scalability.
