Consumer videos

We are privileged to be able to share videos of two consumer experiences of seclusion.

From 1 July 2025, the Mental Health and Addiction Quality Improvement Programme has moved to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ).

Resources are still available for download from this website while Health NZ sets up a new online home.

In these videos, Nelson Marlborough health district consumer advisor Jenny Fenwick, and Dunedin playwright and producer Haki Davis, share their experiences of seclusion, and suggest alternative actions staff could have taken.
