Stay independent toolkit 2017The Stay independent falls prevention toolkit for clinicians (updated in August 2017) comprises a booklet, a poster suitable for waiting room display and a consumer brochure which encourages older people to self-assess their falls risk and follow that with a conversation with their health professional.

The toolkit was adapted for the New Zealand setting by bpacnz. It is based on materials for Stopping Elderly Accidents Death and Injuries developed by the United States' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Three key documents are provided for download, as well as each individual section of the toolkit.
