The prevalence of healthcare-associated infections in New Zealand public hospitals 2021

This article presents the findings from the first national point prevalence survey of all district hospitals, undertaken by Te Tāhū Hauora Health Quality & Safety Commission in 2021, with the aim of obtaining information to inform the selection of quality improvement initiatives to reduce healthcare-associated infections.
