The prevalence of healthcare-associated infections in New Zealand Public Hospitals 2021

This article presents the findings from the first national point prevalence survey of all district hospitals, undertaken by the Health Quality & Safety Commission in 2021, with the aim of obtaining information to inform the selection of quality improvement initiatives to reduce healthcare-associated infections.
