Kia āta kōwhiri Choosing Wisely

The Choosing Wisely campaign seeks to reduce harm from unnecessary and low-value tests and treatment.

The Health Quality & Safety Commission’s aged residential care (ARC) programme is sharing positive stories coming out of the ARC sector.

What are we doing well? How are we making a positive change to residents’ lives? We’re keen to share these kinds of stories on our website and through our e-digest.

If you’ve got a story to share or a project you’d like people to know about, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch with details of:

  • your practice environment
  • the initial problem you faced, or opportunity you wanted to pursue
  • what your solution was
  • what the impact or outcome was.

Multimedia also helps, so send us any video or images that help tell your story.

Our communications team are happy to help put your story together, or work with your own management and comms team to produce it. Alternatively, if you have an ongoing project, we can work with you to develop a blog to follow its progress.

If you’re interested, contact us at arc@hqsc.govt.nz and we’ll be happy to help get the ball rolling to share your good work.
