The adult primary care patient experience survey is designed to find out what patients’ experience in primary care is like and how their overall care is managed between their general practice, diagnostic services, specialists and hospital staff. The information is used to improve the quality of service delivery and patient safety.

The survey is now the largest health survey in New Zealand, with around 30,000 responses expected each quarter.

For all questions about the survey please contact survey@hqsc.govt.nz.
